Affiliate Program Terms

These are the terms of the ExoLabz affiliate program for exolabz.ca. They apply to anyone who applies for, is accepted into, or receives a commission from the program. The affiliate program page describes the program in plainer language; where the two differ, these terms govern.

1. The program in brief

The program is Give 10% / Get 10%. A customer who arrives through your tracking link, scans your QR code or enters your coupon code receives 10% off their order. You earn 10% of the value of every qualified order that customer places for as long as the customer and the program remain active, which we call lifetime attribution. On acceptance we issue a tracking link, a QR code, a coupon code and a dashboard that records clicks, orders and commissions as they occur.

2. Who the program is for

The program exists for publishers who write for a research audience: laboratory newsletters, analytical-chemistry sites, supplier directories, comparison pages and similar. We review each application within 24 hours of receiving it and may decline an application without giving a reason.

3. Qualified orders and commission

An order is qualified when it is placed on exolabz.ca by a customer attributed to you, is paid in full, is not cancelled and is not refunded in whole. The commission base is the order’s product value after any discount the customer used, excluding shipping and any transaction fee. Commission on an order later refunded in part is reduced in proportion; commission on an order refunded in full is reversed. Orders placed by you, by a member of your household or through an account you control are not qualified, and no self-referral of any kind is permitted. Where more than one affiliate could claim the same customer, the last tracking link clicked or the code entered at checkout decides.

4. Your coupon code

Your code gives the customer 10% off and does not combine with any other code. An order placed with a seasonal sale code is not attributed to you through your code, though it may still be attributed through your tracking link.

5. Content rules

The following rules apply to every piece of content that carries your link, code or QR code, including social posts, videos, emails and web pages.

1. Disclosure. You must state, clearly and before the reader reaches the link or code, that you have a material connection to ExoLabz and are paid when readers purchase. A disclosure at the foot of a page, in a profile or behind a “more” control does not meet this rule. This follows Competition Bureau of Canada guidance on influencer and affiliate advertising.
2. No claims about use or outcomes. Our products are research materials. Your content must not say or imply how a material would be used in people or in any living organism, in what amount, by what route or on what schedule; must not describe outcomes, advantages, changes or experiences from such use; must not show before-and-after comparisons; must not address or describe a product as intended for a sex, an age group or any other group of people; and must not present a product next to, or bundled with, any food, drink, supplement or other consumable.
3. GLP line naming. Our GLP-1, GLP-2 (GLP-1/GIP) and GLP-3 (GLP-1/GIP/Glucagon) research materials must be referred to by those names only. You must not describe them using any brand name, trade name or pharmaceutical name, and must not state or imply that they are the same as any marketed product.

6. Prohibited promotion

• No paid search on our brand. You may not bid on “ExoLabz”, “exolabz.ca” or any misspelling or variation of them on any search-advertising platform, and you may not send paid search traffic to our site through your link.
• No coupon sites. Your code may not be submitted to, or posted on, coupon aggregators, deal forums or code directories unless we approve the placement in writing first.
• No unsolicited email, messaging or comments. You may send your link only to people who have opted in to hear from you.
• No misrepresentation. You may not present yourself as ExoLabz or use our name in a domain, handle or page title.

7. Bonuses and custom arrangements

We pay tiered bonuses when your attributed orders pass monthly milestones; the current tiers are shown in your dashboard and may be revised on 30 days’ notice. Publishers who send consistent volume may ask for a custom arrangement, confirmed in writing.

8. Payout

Commissions become payable once the orders they relate to have passed our refund window and any reversal has been applied. We pay by cryptocurrency or by Interac e-Transfer to a Canadian account, or by another method agreed in writing. You are responsible for any tax on your commissions and for supplying accurate payout details.

9. Withholding and reversal

We may withhold, reverse or reclaim commission on any order where we find a breach of sections 3, 5 or 6, where the order is fraudulent or charged back, or where the attribution was created artificially (cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden frames or similar). Our decision on attribution and on breaches is final.

10. Term and termination

Either of us may end your participation on 30 days’ written notice. We may end it at once, without notice, for a breach of section 5 or 6. On termination you must remove our links, codes and QR codes from your content within seven days. Commission on qualified orders placed before the termination date is paid in the normal course, less any amount withheld under section 9.

11. General

You are an independent publisher, not our agent, employee or partner. We may amend these terms by posting a new version and emailing the address on your application; continued use of your link after 30 days is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and of Canada. Questions go to support@exolabz.ca.
