Receiving, step by step

Bring the sealed parcel indoors and leave it closed.
Let the vials reach room temperature sealed — thirty to sixty minutes. Opening a cold vial in a warm room pulls atmospheric moisture straight onto the powder, and water in the cake is what drives hydrolysis and deamidation.
Then move to 2–8 °C unopened, unless reconstituting immediately.
Inspect vials and crimp seals, not the outer box. Cold makes packaging brittle without necessarily marking it.
Look at the cake. Intact and uniform is correct; collapse or discolouration should be recorded on the day, because it cannot be assessed retrospectively.

What the certificates establish, and what they do not

In a city with this much analytical capability the distinction is worth stating precisely. Third-party RP-HPLC and mass spectrometry establish identity and purity for the batch tested, under the conditions stated on the certificate. They do not establish sterility, endotoxin content or residual solvent levels — those are separate tests, and a certificate that does not report them has not run them.

Purity is also method-dependent rather than absolute: gradient slope, column chemistry, detection wavelength and integration parameters all move an area-percent figure, which is why conditions belong on the document and why two competent laboratories can differ on the same vial.
