This is a buying guide for researchers who need sermorelin or tesamorelin from a Canadian source. It is not a product page and it does not describe how either compound is used; it covers what the two peptides are structurally, what a certificate for each should contain, what a milligram costs in Canadian dollars at every vial size we list, and what changes when the parcel comes from inside Canada rather than across a border.

Two GHRH analogues, one truncated and one full length

Both compounds are synthetic analogues of GHRH, a native peptide of 44 residues. Sermorelin is the first 29 of those residues carried as a C-terminal amide, written GHRH(1-29)-NH2. It has no acyl group, no substituted residue and no albumin-binding attachment; the N-terminus begins Tyr-Ala, and the amide form differs from the free-acid form by about one dalton. Tesamorelin takes the other route: it keeps the whole 44-residue chain and adds a trans-3-hexenoyl group at the N-terminus, so its calculated mass has to include that acyl group. Sermorelin as the GHRH(1-29) reference analogue and tesamorelin as a stabilised GHRH analogue set out the structural detail. We supply sermorelin as a lyophilised research material in 5 mg and 10 mg vials and tesamorelin in a 10 mg vial. The sermorelin Canada hub and the tesamorelin Canada hub gather the rest of our material on each, and sermorelin vs tesamorelin vs CJC-1295 puts the three GHRH-class peptides we stock in one table.

What a certificate for a GHRH analogue should show

We do not currently have a published third-party report for sermorelin or tesamorelin. New tests are being uploaded to the certificates page as they come back, and we would rather say that plainly than point at a report for a different compound. Until one is published, here is what to look for on any vendor’s certificate for either peptide.

For sermorelin, the mass check is the one that matters most. The amide and the free acid are almost indistinguishable on a reversed-phase column, so an HPLC purity figure alone cannot tell you which form is in the vial; the report needs an observed mass from the mass spectrometer and a calculated mass quoted for the amidated form, not the acid. For tesamorelin, the calculated mass must include the hexenoyl group, otherwise the certificate has been checked against the wrong molecule. A 44-residue chain also makes three further items worth insisting on: the HPLC method settings (column, gradient and wavelength), because an area-percent figure without them is uninformative at that length; a note on aggregation state by size-exclusion chromatography or dynamic light scattering; and an oxidation check, since the sequence carries methionine and tryptophan and an oxidised impurity shows as a satellite 16 Da above the main mass. Net peptide content should be reported separately for both compounds. The label milligrams are gross weight, and after the counter-ion (usually TFA) and residual water are subtracted, net content is typically 70–90% of label; net peptide content explained covers the measurement.

Finally, the report should name the laboratory and carry photographs of the batch. Our vials have no printed lot number, so a certificate is tied to a lot by matching cap colour and crimp colour against those photographs. How to read a peptide certificate of analysis goes through each section in order.

Sermorelin and tesamorelin price per milligram in CAD

List prices as of 28 October 2026, with the 10+ columns worked at the cart’s 25% tier. Tesamorelin 10 mg is out of stock at the time of writing; the product page has a “Notify me” box that emails you when it is relisted, and its pricing is shown here so the comparison stays complete.

ProductList price (CAD)Label mg$/mg10+ vial price$/mg at 10+
Sermorelin 5 mg$89.99589.99 ÷ 5 = $18.0089.99 × 0.75 = $67.4967.49 ÷ 5 = $13.50
Sermorelin 10 mg$105.9910105.99 ÷ 10 = $10.60105.99 × 0.75 = $79.4979.49 ÷ 10 = $7.95
Tesamorelin 10 mg (out of stock)$119.9910119.99 ÷ 10 = $12.00119.99 × 0.75 = $89.9989.99 ÷ 10 = $9.00

The gap between the two sermorelin sizes is the point of the table: the 10 mg vial costs $16.00 more than the 5 mg vial but holds twice the material, so its price per milligram is $7.40 lower at list. A vial price only becomes comparable once it is divided by label milligrams, which is what our research peptide price list does for every product we stock. Comparing research peptide prices per milligram explains why the method still needs a net-content caveat.

Buying from inside Canada or importing

Our parcels leave from inside Canada and go only to Canadian addresses, by tracked domestic post in plain-label packaging. No border is crossed, so there is no customs declaration to fill in, no duty and no brokerage charge on delivery. An order confirmed before the day’s cut-off usually leaves within one business day; later orders join the next dispatch, and a late-Friday order goes out on Monday. From dispatch, Alberta and Saskatchewan addresses typically see the parcel in 1–3 business days, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec in 2–4, Atlantic Canada in 3–5, and the three territories take longer. Those are typical windows rather than promises. Orders over $200 CAD ship free; smaller orders pay the flat tracked rate shown at checkout. The shipping policy has the current figures.

Importing the same vials changes the cost in three ways. The quoted price is in another currency, so the exchange rate on the day sets what you actually pay. The parcel carries an international shipping charge. And it can be held for inspection at the border, which adds time you cannot plan around. Importing research chemicals into Canada vs buying domestically works through each of those.

Paying for the order

Three methods are available and none of them changes the price. Interac e-Transfer, with the order number entered as the security question and no custom notes added. Credit card, which is processed in USD at the live rate, so the figure on your statement may be a few cents off the CAD total. Crypto, in Solana, Ethereum or Bitcoin. Each method is walked through on the payment methods page.

Quantity pricing across both compounds

The cart applies quantity pricing on its own, with no code, and it counts every vial in the cart regardless of compound. Three sermorelin vials and three tesamorelin vials make six, which puts all of them on the 10% tier.

A first-order code or a win-back code sent by email stacks on top of whichever tier the cart has reached. A holiday sale code at 30% off list does not stack; while it is applied it replaces quantity pricing. For more than ten vials of either compound, ask for a quote through the bulk orders page.

On arrival: storage and the seven-day window

Both peptides ship as lyophilised powder, which is stable over normal transit, so no cold-chain is used. Once the parcel is in, move the sealed vials to 2–8 °C, dark and dry. Before a vial is opened for the first time, let it come up to room temperature so that condensation does not form on the cold powder. Within 7 calendar days, check the contents: vial count against the packing slip, cap and crimp colours against the batch photographs on the certificate you plan to cite, and glass and crimps for damage. Report anything damaged or incorrect inside that window with photos and we replace or refund it. Receiving a research peptide shipment is the full list, and storage and stability of lyophilised research peptides covers the weeks after.

Five questions for any vendor

  1. Which laboratory produced the certificate, and is it an independent report or something generated in-house?
  2. Is the calculated mass on the certificate for the right molecule: the amidated form for sermorelin, and the hexenoyl-bearing 44-mer for tesamorelin?
  3. Are the HPLC method settings stated, and for tesamorelin is there any check for oxidation or aggregation?
  4. How is a vial linked to its certificate: a printed lot number, or batch photographs with cap and crimp colours?
  5. If your own test fails the certificate’s specification, what does the vendor do? Our purity guarantee refunds both the product and the testing fee once the unused material comes back with the lab report.

Choosing a research peptide supplier in Canada takes each question further, and how to read a peptide certificate of analysis shows what a complete answer to the second and third looks like on paper.
