Description
Selank 5mg – Research Peptide
Other sizes. This is the 5mg vial. The same compound is also supplied as a 10mg vial.
Selank 5mg is a high-purity, research-grade synthetic peptide supplied for use in controlled laboratory environments. This compound is provided to support scientific investigation involving peptide signaling, neurochemical pathways, and related biochemical mechanisms.
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the naturally occurring tetrapeptide tuftsin. It has appeared in scientific literature examining central nervous system peptide signaling and molecular interactions relevant to neurotransmitter systems.
Selank 5mg is intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical study. This material is not approved for human or veterinary use and must not be used in clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic applications.
What Is Selank?
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide analog structurally related to tuftsin. In published scientific literature, Selank has been examined within experimental models involving central nervous system peptide signaling and neurochemical pathways.
Research discussions involving Selank have explored interactions with several molecular systems, including:
• GABA-related signaling pathways
• Neurotrophic factor pathways including BDNF
• Peptide-mediated immune signaling mechanisms
• Stress-related neurochemical pathways
• Central nervous system peptide activity
• Neurotransmitter signaling models
• Central nervous system peptide interactions
• Molecular pathways related to stress signaling
• Neurotrophic factor expression pathways
These areas remain subjects of ongoing laboratory investigation.

Analytical note — Selank. Three of seven residues are proline, which produces conformational peak broadening, and the lysine and arginine make the peptide strongly basic with no acidic residue to offset them. Ion-pairing additive in the mobile phase is doing real work on this one.
Identity references The molecular formula, molecular mass and CAS registry number above are taken from the PubChem record linked in the table, not from a supplier datasheet, so every figure can be checked against an independent source in one click. Sequences are given as reported in the peptide literature, in the one-letter or three-letter convention as appropriate, with any non-standard residue named in full. Where a compound exists in more than one form — a free peptide and a metal complex, a fragment and its parent protein, a modified and an unmodified analog — the form supplied is the one identified here, and the mass on the certificate of analysis is what distinguishes it.
